Long combinations in Chess960

A combination is a forced sequence — a chain of moves where every reply is more or less compelled, so the outcome can be seen in advance if one can only calculate far enough. The longest of them run move after move with the result fixed from the very first, demanding sight to the end of the line and a little past it.

Chess960 lengthens the calculation. With no opening theory and no familiar middlegame shapes, a deep forced sequence cannot be recognised from memory; it has to be worked out square by square, which is what makes the longest lines here genuinely hard.

These are the deepest forced combinations in the collection, ranked plainly by the length of the forcing line — the further the win is nailed down move by move, the higher the position sits.
